Bali is not only the area of Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua and Ubud which is famous for its beauty. Although not yet widely explored, the northern coastal region of Bali, precisely Singaraja, also has a very beautiful line of beaches to visit.
To get to Singaraja, you need to drive for about three hours from Denpasar. Here are some beautiful spots that we can visit when visiting Singaraja;
Lovina Beach
Lovina Beach, located in Kalibukbuk Village, offers a different charm. the waves on Lovina Beach are quite calm, in contrast to most beaches in Bali which are generally large, so Lovina Beach is suitable as a place for relaxing swimming or just playing water on the edge of the beach.
On Lovina Beach we also meet directly with dolphins, you know. Lovina Beach is the original habitat of dolphins, so we will see these mammals passing by on the high seas.
If you want to see first hand the presence of dolphins, you can rent a boat from local fishermen to take us to the middle of the sea. You must come in the morning, before 6 in the morning. Because that’s when usually dolphins will appear and come out of the surface.

Menjangan Island
Menjangan Island is a very interesting island on the north side of Bali. Menjangan Island is approximately 76 kilometers from Singaraja. On this island, we can find various kinds of interesting tourist spots.
We can see the beauty of the underwater world which is very beautiful like a painting on Menjangan Island. We can see a variety of beautiful coral reefs, as well as thousands of species of fish, and various other marine biotas that are busy passing on Menjangan Island. Guaranteed, this scene will hypnotize us when watching it.
If you don’t want to dive, you can have fun on the beach. The calm and clear blue sea water, and the soft white expanse of sand is certainly one of the most spectacular sights. Especially when we are relaxing under a tree blown by a gentle breeze.
If you are interested in visiting Menjangan Island, you can cross from Gilimanuk Port to this island, or drive for 4 hours from Denpasar.
