Bali Bird Park

Bali Bird Park is located Between Singapadu and Batubulan. Also known as Taman Burung, it was created in 1995. The park hosts 1,500 varieties of birds , including 250 species of birds that are not just found in Bali but also across Indonesia and several rare species found in Africa, Australia and the Americas.

In addition, the Bali Bird Park has some rare and endangered birds, too. The park is where you will see the sole bird that is native to Bali which is that of the Bali Starling. There is also an breeding program that aims to boost the bird population. The program has proved effective in breeding unique Pasquet’s Parrot as well as a variety of Bali Starlings.

To protect the birds and the visitors, a bio security system has been put installed to ensure that no birds are infected with virus. To avoid diseases The park is clean , and all baths for feet are stocked with disinfectants.

Apart from birdlife, this park is home to more than 2,000 exotic trees and plants including 50 species of palms. The aviary recreates the forest habitat.

Visiting Information

The Bali Bird Park is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The park is closed on the Balinese New Year.
