Karedok, Indonesian Salad in Peanut Sauce

Karedok is a typical culinary of West Java with the basic ingredients of fresh vegetables served with a splash of peanut sauce. The food with the name Karedok is actually similar to Gado-Gado or Pecel, but the most basic difference is in the use of vegetables presented is in the raw state. Vegetables include cucumber, basil leaves, long beans, cabbage, eggplant, and bean sprouts. All these vegetables are cut into small pieces and served raw.
