Planetarium Negara -National Planetarium Kuala Lumpur

planetarium negara

Planetarium Negara is located on an area of 120,000 square meters and was built on Puncak Bukit in Taman Tasik, Jalan Perdana Kuala Lumpur.

This blue-domed planetarium was prepared in 1994, about a decade before Malaysia sent its first astronaut into space in collaboration with the Russian space agency.

Planetarium Negara is more focused on space science, where there are several attractions and related activities such as space shows and big films here.

You can also see exhibits about space science such as the Arianne IV space machine, Malaysia’s first satellite into space, a 14-inch (360 mm) telescope, and more. Even more impressive, outside the Planetarium Negara, you can see a Stonehenge sundial replica, an ancient ceramics hall built near this dome building.
