JC. Princen Well if you have never been to South Lake Tahoe I highly recommend it. Every year my family and I would setup a different basecamp by south lake hotels. These are memories that will last a lifetime and we always have a great time with the different activities they have. There are many things to do in South Lake Tahoe. Some of our favorite activities during the winter are snowboarding, skiing, building a snowman, and playing in the snow. The scenery here is second to none during the winter. So if you love nature this is definitely a place you have to visit.
Another great time of the year to visit South Lake Tahoe is during the summer. The weather is amazing and nothing beats a BBQ by the lake. Some of our favorite activities include kayaking, standup paddle boarding, horseback riding, hiking the lam watah trail, disc golf (if you have never tried it I highly recommend this sport), and hang gliding. If you love to explore South Lake Tahoe is a great place to visit. There are some great trails and mountain to explore. Great places to explore include the flume trail, Mt.
