Man Mo Temple

Tour in Hong kong

The gloomy red-and-gold interior of the Man Mo Temple, dating back to the 1840s, is always awash with the scent of sandalwood from the massive incense spirals that hang over it and require a few weeks to burn. This temple was dedicated to two gods, Man (the god of literature) and Mo (the god of war). A few sequences from the film adaptation of Richard Mason’s The World of Suzie Wong were shot here.

Central’s Statue Square

Central’s Statue Square

You can stand at the Central District’s Statue Square and be right in the city’s historical, financial, political, and social center. Within the glass and steel of the modern, sleek buildings that line the square are a few old colonial structures, like the beautiful Neoclassical Court of Final Appeal, within which Hong Kong’s generally informal political demonstrations are held. Shopping is a more well-known Hong Kong pursuit than politics, as can be appreciated in the numerous luxurious boutiques opposite.

Stanley village

Tour in Hong kong

Stanley, also known as Chek Chue, is the Chinese word, is located in a coastal city and a well-known tourist destination in Hong Kong. It is situated on the peninsula located on Hong Kong Island. It lies east of Repulse Bay and west of Shek O and is situated between Chung Hom Kok and Tai Tam. Administratively, it’s located in the Southern District.

It is believed that the Chinese term “Chek Chue” refers to the first village-town; however “, Stanley” typically refers to all surrounding areas of the peninsula located on Hong Kong Island.

Lantau Island

Lantau Island is the biggest of Hong the 261 islands in Hong Kong; however, despite its being easily accessible, it is less developed than others. A trip to Lantau Island is largely about leaving behind the bustle and smog on Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula. The pace of life is slower, but not too much. The roads are windier. A country with the most skyscrapers feels welcome, as does the extra space available on hilly Lantau Island.

Lantau’s peace and tranquility aren’t distant. Hong Kong International Airport is right next to it, which is a good reason to take some time to enjoy Lantau Island before flying out.
